Routers & Bridges
Routers / Bridges are used to connect two different networks. Often these networks use different networking types. The most common type of router is a Cable / DSL router which is used to share internet access.
Routers, also called gateway routers, allow networked computers to access Internet through one shared modem. The modem could be ISDN, DSL, or cable.
Use routers to minimize operating costs and increase performance with bandwidth optimization features, gain maximum network control with a broad range of advanced remote management features, and gain functionality to make high-quality, cost-effective remote network connections facilities.
